Is soylent green REALLY made of people?

    To be honest with you I think it's just propaganda pushed out by the Kellogs people... trying to boost sales of "Special K" (and other tasty breakfast cereals).

    I'll stick to bacon and eggs.

    unfourtunately those damn corporate giants have all the judges & politicians in their pockets!

    have you tasted soylent green when its prepared right in front of you? Gotta go to one of those japanese places for that. Its odd to watch a people cooked right in front of you, but man, fresh MM MM GOOD. :p

    I knew I shouldn't... but the temptation was too great! ;)

    Seriously though, he didn't cook it, he just dipped it in for a split second. Apparently he does it often (has no feeling in his fingertips) but I still found it odd. Pretty F***ed up.

    Be a cook for long enough, it's common to be able to do that...:p...

    I 'used' to be able to as well...freaks people out more than the finger is actually in the fryer for....:D...

    And to think I saw the movie when it first came out. People were pretty freaked out on St. Patrick's Day at the pub when they served up the green beer and green burgers.

    Well, I think green food is pretty gross any time of the year... unless it's from France and served with wine, then it's "gourmet". ;)

    I didnt like that movie. The payoff was only in the last 5 minutes at the end. Very weird, typical 70's "disaster future" movie though.
