Is someone trying to get me kicked out of adsense?

Today, I've noticed a HUGE traffic increase (20x), mainly comming from sites like 4daily.com and 12dailypro.com. I see those are some paid to surf sites. I didn't buy any traffic. I would be happy with it, but it does nothing but burns my bandwidth, impressions average 1 per user. Google adsense doesn't record page impressions also. Maybe I should write to ? I've heard you can't boost your traffic on adsense pages by buying it. What do you think this is?

Write to Adsense. They will be happy to know that you are telling them that someone might be violatiung their policy

Submitted a support message telling them about the situation. Let's see what happens :\

Erm. I'm very confused. Now another wave of traffic from StormPay's stormclix. It's crazy, I see +50 unique increases between stat refreshes (just a couple of seconds between them). What should I do? Maybe ban the referrer? I first thought it might be a ddos attact, but my stats are javascript based, so it should basically be real visitors?

I read recently of some disgruntled forum member clicking the crap outta the forums adsense and got their account closed. True or not, I'm not sure but I'd definately be worried about any unusual increase if clicks. Maybe contacting the source of clicks/traffic would be a good idea.

Yeah block any traffic from those referals (just block the whole address) and keep a close eye on this. Sometimes it is funny to see people attempt to do this, since it probably costs them some money.

What kind of site do you run that would have someone wanting to bring the adsense down?

Funny to hear a person want to block traffic...kind of seems like finding out you live on a huge oil field so you put your house up for sale to move away from it.

Anyway...as long as you stay on top of it and block referals when you see something that just doesn't feel right. And writing google was probably a good thing to do. Seems the outcomes are always better if you address them first rather than wait for a suprise verdict against you without any chance of appeal.

But they're not clicking? Then it doesn't matter if they visit your page. Why in the world would Google care if 10 billion people visit your site in one day, and no one clicks on your Adsense ads? Unless they're clicking on your ads, there's absolutely no reason why Google would care about your traffic fluctuations.

That is weird because you have to pay to list sites on Stormclix. Sure it is not much, but it still costs money. Wonder why someone would do that.

    An affiliate site?
    Or just your own site?
If an affiliate of your site, then he is advertising all over to get business.

Have yet to figure out why people advertise on stormclix.
10% fee plus vast majority just click to get the money into their account.

Hey, here is something I ran across earlier today....a pixel site that gives away free pixels, no cost!
From the FAQ on the site, the person states he hopes to make money with his adsense ads and his affiliate programs.
    Might be something there.

Well, I still have no idea what happened, but I've blocked all traffic via .htaccess and that's the end of the story :)
