I am regularly reading the effective way to use social bookmarking sites to bring immense traffic to our website and so, I am putting in lots of effects to how effectively use this social bookmarking sites. But suddenly I got a small doubt disturbing my mind. Since this social bookmarking site traffic seems to be the key for many site's main traffic, I feel it is much saturated source of traffic and was wondering if this method would soon die? I don't mean sites like Digg, stumbleupon and all will be dropped. But I mean, such bookmarking sites comes with very effective plans to stop people playing tricks with it.

How long before all these social bookmarking tricks die?

I n my opinion it wont! your assumption is wrong if you ask me it is not everyone who uses social bookmarks have his/her own sites.. and social bookmarks are becoming popular among Non domain owners these days so I dont see any point that the traffic of social bookmarks will get saturated!!

Not sure what you mean by 'social bookmarking tricks' But social bookmarking sites are here to stay
How many bookmarks you get really depends on the quality of the page bookmarked

Not like that. There are many ideas roaming online on how easily increase the number of your site's digg, or stumble and sort of. I am just stating them as tricks and I am confused how long will these giant bookmarking sites like SU or digg tie their hands from taking actions against such methods. Just hitting google can easily make them understand that bookmarks are being misused by web owners.

Things like manual digg exchanges can never be stopped.. But its better to focus on promoting the right content in the right manner.. blackhat wont take u a long way.

that's why you should rely more on organic traffic, unless google goes down then that's a different story

Is social bookmarking considered to be a blackhat? I thought it's just a strategy of building backlinks and driving traffic.
