Is Social Bookmarking not working for you?Come in!

This is for those people for whom Social Bookmarking submissions doesn't bring in much traffic.Here are my tips on increasing traffic for your site :

*Did you add tags when submitting your site?Add tags to it that are related to your site.
*Add a description/review to the submission.
*Choose a correct category for it.
*Get as many people as possible to vote for your site on Social Bookmarking sites.

Well this is all!If you do all this you can gain good traffic and PR. This is what i do when submitting my sites. You can also submit each article on your site to Social Bookmarking sites.

tags are very important with social bookmarking!
adding a couple of social bookmark icons to your site/articles/pages does work! i check my outgoing clicks daily and find people do click the social icons

 

Also don't forget, don't just submit content from the same site alone. It'll flag you. Mix your submissions. Submit pages from a lot of other sites. Once in a while submit "Authority" sites too.

This way, you look like a real social bookmarker, than just a marketer trying to push something.

Well yeah you are absolutely right.People can catch you.I do keep bookmarking other sites.So i am safe.

You can submit your site at different social bookmarking sites but don't keep submitting the sites you own always.Also submit other sites too.

 

It doesn't matter how many times you submit your site on one social bookmarking site as long as its different pages.

I've found it better to bookmark a huge bunch of my site's pages than spread one page through many services

Can someone give me a quck intro to bookmarking? What is it, how to use it, can it be automated, etc.

It seem like I heard so many things that are supposed to get rankings. Bloggs, article submissions, press releases, etc. It seems impossible to do all of it. And Google keeps changing it's algorithem so how do I know what will work?
Is bookmarking just another short term fad?

Well it surely can because i got a lot of traffic with those things. Don't forget the main thing : tags.
Remember to always enter tags.
