Lot of complaints and issues mentioned on their Facebook page.

They do not seem to be responding to emails as well.

    Anyone knows anything?

I doubt they are dead with the money they pull in from sports betting.

Moneybooker accept those website also which does not accept by paypal like trading. Differentiate b/w paypal and moneybooker. I will prefer moneybooker is best. Paypal have a customer support but they do not know the answer well. Take Indian paypal support as example. I have ask my paypal support,my withdrawl limit has been set to daily but they are saying how is it possible? When the answer is this. I think no support is necessary in paypal, its a time pass. Where moneybooker does have not sufficient support and confuse due to policy changing again and again which is not good.
Paypal also have a lot of complaint. Instead of facebook , search in google.

I opened a moneybookers account in 2006. I intended to use it, but never did. After a month or so, I got a transfer (I think for $5) with a note saying something like "send me paypal?". I didn't really think much about it. I mean, I had still never used the account at this point, so I just went on about my business and forgot it.

About a month later I got a message from them saying my account was locked. When I contacted them about it they said they needed to verify my identity. I sent in all the documents they asked for. After that they thanked me for verifying my identity and told me that they have locked my account for operating an illegal money exchange, and said that if I ever open another account with them they will seize the funds.

To this day I have still never (and will never) do a single transaction with them. Must have been a telepathic exchange.

I avoid them like the plague. I've never had any legitimate business ask me to pay using Skrill/Moneybookers. If you use them, you're just asking for trouble.

As a payment processor, Skrill/Moneybookers is going down the drain.

Their rules are arbitrary and their fees expensive. Their payment system is biased toward those who bring in volume payments because that's the only way to stay ahead of their ridiculous fee structure and merchant gateway usage charges.

If you sell anything online, you're classified as a merchant and immediately pushed into a higher fees category.

Additionally, you end up losing in wire transfer fees because they don't have a cheaper local deposit option like Paypal does. Plus there's the long delays in getting your money in the bank and the longer delay in contacting support staff.

For the average affiliate marketer or freelance developer, Skrill has become a business unfriendly no-go area.
