I've noticed in GWT a backlink coming from sitedossier.com I did a quick search on the web for it but I didn't find a clear answer. It seems to be a site that can create backlinks but I didn't submit my site there. Does anyone know if sitedossier is considered black hat seo practise that can hurt page ranking? Or is it a spider like google bot that happened to find my site?
I've taken a look at it. It seems more like a mini search engine, or a website directory. This actually won't hurt your ranking, but it will somewhat boost it up a bit. If you look at the PR of this website, it's a PR-3. And this means that google actually likes this site. So if anything, the effects are positive for the most part. Take Cares, Marc
