Is site crawler & image crawler different?

    On our site it is often the same IP but oddly when it pulls images it just shows the IP not the entire googlebot identifier. Other times it will come in a on a separate IP but still carries the same identifier as the normal bots. YMMV this is for our site, it may be different for you.

    google have 100s of image crawlers..try googling it.
