Yes it can increase pr if your siggy is do follow, but it will take quite a lot of post to achieve that.

Hey, friend. If a link has a tag in it like

    <a href"http://mysite.com/apples" rel="nofollow" title="big red apples"> YUMMY APPLES</a>
    HTML:
There will be no use in thinking you'll get PR juice... no follow means it's not supposed to be counted..
    Hope that helps :)

The chances of your forum siggy links passing PR juice to your site is limited and depends on many factors but there are more possibilities to get traffic if the link is attractively and properly tagged :D

I am not too sure any longer. One of my PR 4 site was on no. 2 for single word search results for past 5 years, now they all have dropped to no 9, or even second page since I added the links to my siggy here. Feels like google penalized the site.
But then again, the other PR 4 site, which I still have in my siggy, shows links from digital point as strong backlinks. All too confusing.

Just curious.......at what level (Berserker, Raider, Spirit Walker) does the Siggy links start to really pay off?

I notice some DP links counted on my YSE or GWT.......so I assume once you reach "Berserker" (100 posts) there is some benefit to the siggys.

If its a follow link, then yes, they'll increase your PR slightly but not too much.
