Is Shopping Cart or Ecommerce Possible on Social Network?

    Is there such a thing as an ecommerce or shopping cart widget that can be placed into a text field on a social network such as Ning? If not; then is it possible to have a shopping cart on a social network? Thanks...

    Yes you can use shopping cart with social networking , for this you can use any open sources for both functionality or you can do custom programming for it.

    Thanks e2developer. How is this done? Is it a simple as going to a site ..configuring the cart ..then pasting embed code to a text box?? OR does it involve more expertise?
