I see all shoemoney checks he has on his blog cool right ? But how much did he put out to make that ? I don't make close a year what he does on one of those ckeck but I pay $0 to make it most years I can pull about $250,000 a year.If I paid $1,000,000 I could probley make close to 1,500,000 but real only $500,000.
So my Q how much = cost did you make from that 500,000 adzooglead check.

That's the rub, isnt it? And a question not asked nearly enough. And the reason why you don't measure your success against someone else. You don't know how they are doing it or what their gross margin is - so why bother using it as a standard.

Yah, they're real (mine is posted in there too).. But you're right - for those really big ones it probably costs a lot in Adwords to generate that much with Adsense.. But you know what they say - you gotta SPEND money to MAKE money... but i prefer to just make it..

I'm sure he's spent a lot of money advertising and promoting to earn those checks. Personally, I think it's unprofessional and downright tacky to post photo of a check of your earnings. You see that sort of stuff on pyramid scheme sites and clickbank junk sites when the promoters are trying to win you over by showing you "how much they made".

I'd guess Jeremy has never worked in a real corporate job because it's pretty much taboo to talk about your salary or any bonuses you get.

Yah, that's true in the real-world.. But to a blogger that blogs about how to make money online, bragging about how much you earn is a requirement.. Blogs like johnchow, johnCOW, shoemoney's and mine prove it..

Yes, you do see it a lot. And most of the time, with get-rich-quick schemes it's just that... a scheme/gimmick.

But Shoemoney is a big name... and I think it's part of his image... One looks forward to seeing the big checks... it made him somewhat of a pop-star in certain marketing niches...

...and you can't deny that it surely is good inspiration for others.
