is sharing mtv illegal?

Is sharing mtv content in my site illegal? of course i dont have writtne consent. Or is it a public domain i can just share?

If you add it to youtube and share on your site, there is not a problem. But, I doubt adding it directly to your site and hosting could violate something.

I don't see how Viacom can win anyway, Google will just point out the 100,000 other video sites that are not being sued by viacom because they don't have a trillion dollars they can get out of them in damages, lol.

 

Youtube were sued by MTV for using their content. So take care.
