Is Sharing Movies illegal?

    Is it illegal to have a streaming site where you embed movies from various sources?
    A good example would be Putlocker. They do not host the files but share and link them from various web players. I DO NOT have the files on my server itself. Just using an video tag and linking them together.
    Just wondering...
