Is shared hosting threat for webmaster using adsense?

One of my friend told me that running sites having adsense on a shared server hosting is not good because there will be many domains in one shared server, all having same ip.So if one domain does anything fraud activity relating to adsense and gets banned then all domain in that server will also get banned beacuse all have same ip.

I dont know whether this is true...Can anyone clarify me on this?

as per my knowledge adsense bans websites "domains" not ip :D , i once tried to park a domain on banned site and saw ads were running any how i removed them since i know google will ban other domain too within a day or two ;)

I have been using adsense on shared hosted websites for about 5 years. Tell your friend he shouldn't class himself as an expert ;)

Hosting has nothing to do with Adsense. As long as your site follows Adsense guidelines you are ok. (For example having a blog on blogspot ;) )

No, funny misconception tough. Only sites who are running your client id plus are somehow related to you (google can check that) are dangerous.
