Is September starting off weak for you too?

I had hoped that September would be a big improvement over August, but so far this first week, things are not looking better.

Are things picking up for you so far this month?

Shouldn't everyone be back from their summer vacations?

Improvement here starting the last week in August. Not enough days for me to call it a trend but if it's coming, I'll take it :) For me it is an increase in traffic, which has the ripple effect into the Adsense aspect.

my revenue has increased, but my click count has decreased slightly. I'm hoping to double or triple my revenue in the next 6 months through the new sites I'm launching.

Tough start since the first 3 days were a holiday weekend...

Don't worry... still got a long way to go until the end of the month... ;-)

AdSense has been wonky for the last couple of weeks - earnings per click jumping up and down on my hottest ad spot (I stick a 280x332 on SE traffic) from 0.02 to 0.30 per click, and a CTR for that spot from 1.0% to 5.5%. Historically it's been about 5%, and SE traffic hasn't changed, and I can get low CTR and low EPC or high CTR & EPC or any combination of the two. My lowest daily earnings for the last 30 days has been 8x less than my highest, without much different in SE traffic.

Last month, I made $12 a day. This month has been $22 a day.

I accredit that to learning new ways of generating traffic to my site. Plus, word of mouth has really helped the growth of the site.

September stared with the Labor Day holiday as well as the start of colleges and schools. Most of my sites cater to the younger crowd so traffic is down a bit.
