hi, I completed my site which is about a certain niche which is tattoos. Heres my url www.designstattoono1.com . I completed the site 6 days ago and advertised on facebook (on my tattoo fan page) and on some free ad sites but got less than 200 visitors. Im looking for something more over 2000 visitors per day. can seo really bring in a lot of visitors ?? like over 10,000per week ?? and how much time does it take for it to happen ?? i have basic knowledge about seo like creating robot.txt files etc but im planing to hire an expert, are there any realiable companies out there?? 'i talked to a company called orange soda but it requires a minimum budget of at least 1500$ for a good campagin. thanks let me know any new ideas
If you question is 'can' SEO bring in that much traffic, then I'll say yes, it's possible. But that's a HUGE amount of traffic you're talking about. You're going to need extremely good keyphrase research to find enough quality key phrases that you can realistically be compeditive on and that also can bring in that much traffic. Then you'll need a good amount of on page optimization and a very aggressive high quality link building campaign. If you're looking for this kind of traffic with SEO, you need either a huge amount of time and effort, or a huge amount of money, and if you really want to increase your chances of success, both.
Just some friendly criticism - that is a really bad URL. "designstattoono1" is a grammatical train wreck and VERY hard to remember. Since you've just started, I think you should consider getting "tattoodesignsno1" or "no1tattoodesigns" instead, if you really have to go with that phrase.
the only real alternative is paying for traffic (via advertising) and it sounds like you have a limited budget so yes... I would say SEO is the way to go. But if you are looking for immediate results, you have another thing coming. It takes time to build up links (and thus search engine results.) as far as 2000 visitors a day, this depends on the niche. if there's that many people searching for things related to your niche then yes you can get that many visitors, if not then it's unlikely. as far as hiring someone to do your SEO - I know there are lots of people here that sell their SEO services but I am highly suspicious of going that route. I've hired people in the past and I don't think it's ever really worked out to my advantage. I'm sure there are exceptions to this, but I've yet to find an SEO service that you can hire that you can really count on (I have not tried all of them by any stretch...) Personally I go about doing my SEO (which is essentially link building) on my own. Article marketing being my #1 method.
There are many companies out there that will do SEO for you, but most of them want to lock you into a monthly type of situation where you end up being held "hostage", as if you cancel, they stop working for you. If you want to go the SEO route, doing it yourself is the best way, IMO, as long as you have the time.
whats best varies from person to person. my brother makes 40k+ a month and he doesn;t do any SEO. to him, its total waste of time. he builds his landing page and starts PPC campaing right away and starts making money form day one. i on the other hand, i do very minimal PPC and mostly SEO for my own sites. it all depends on your comfort level. PPC can send you boat load of traffic within minutes of launching a campaign. where SEO might take weeks or even months depending on your target audience and keywords. while it takes longer to get traffic with SEO, it is also one of the least expensive way of generating traffic. once you are ranked high on search engines, you are on easy street enjoying the organic traffic that are highly targeted. its actaully your call. if you do not have the budget for what you are quoted, then you can do a little shopping around and find other quotes. or you can read a little and learn the seo process, then just do it yourself.
