Hello All, Is there a great demand for SEO there in the US? With almost 3 years experience in SE Optimizing, what is the salary one should demand? Regards, Dilip
I would really be a good idea to get some better hosting... Geocities screams "I don't know jack about web development" It's notorious for crap websites... Professionals steer clear of those kind of free hosts...
If you are that good, make few high ranked sites which sell something and you will not need to work for anybody.
Apparently none of you took initiatives to visit my website linked from my signature and on top of it, you are deviating from the topic. Geocities is crap alright but my geocities account is paid for and is free from ads (if you have visited it you would know)
LOL , hehehe bro no offend but if you are good in SEO you don't need anyone to hire you.. you can generate cash if you really want to move to US if you desire it.
Do you have some examples of your work? Or better yet, why would you need to move to the US to capitalize on the market?
The last SEO I would hire would be sub-hosted anywhere, whether it be geocities or myspace or yahoo. I would hire an SEO who has their own site, e-mail address connected to the site, since this shows professionalism. My advice, take it or leave it..........
i think one of the reason why he asking about is he wanted to work in US, as you can see there is a lot of GOOD opprtunity compare here in asia... dilipsam you dont have to go in america if you want to earn BIG BUCKS.. my friend earned $7k to $10K a month..working in his house. the reason why he earned that kind of money because he is really good in JAVA and he work very smart...so if you earning that kind of money do you still want to work in US?for me i wont i will just go to US just to be a tourist.. you have to be good brother...
About the cost first . You can charge anything less than what other US companies are charging . That's why companies outsource work . The cost will depend on the kind of results you will be able to bring and "have brought in past". One way to show your talent would be to bring your seo site on first page in google for "search engine optimization" . The exact phrase... Then of course if you can show some other websites also to the people who contact you for your services as an indication to the "type" of sites you have worked for in past . Like may be a jewelry site , sports site ,electronics site etc. Another way is to Participate in "V7N" contest and if you win , dude you will have more SEO work than you can handle . Or do what I do ! Create my own products and try my SEO know hows on these sites which sell my products. Last year I made nearly $3 for every $1 I invested in these products and sites! This year if I make enough I will put up my Charity blind relief training and job center in New Delhi region or somewhere close providing free training and job opportunities for visually challenged in India. I plan on having at least 50 computers and around 20 teachers and other divisions for younger children.Plus audio books,Handicrafts etc. All in my Owned building if possible. Of course my current products are not huge enough to finance this , but a new one's on it's way.Let's see how it works out. Bye jeet
hahaha... I have 1 question about your post. what are some keywords you have worked on and have been successful with? based on this, I could give you a salary range. Not to mention, these people are correct. The first thing you do in SEO is buy a smart, keyword domain name. mine is ColoradoGraphics.com see the value.
If you’re really good, you’ll never work for anyone else! The amount of time you spend on someone else’s site could be spent creating your own site that will generate monthly returns for who knows how long! A few exceptions do apply. 1) You have an opportunity to work for the competition (they don’t know you’re a competitor). 2) Family and close friends who will not leave you alone unless you do at least one site for them. 3) You’re just starting out and want to try some radical methods. 4) You have a hidden way of getting them to the top that requires monthly attention or the ranking will drop.
