I put together a micro job site over the weekend - topgigg.com - I used the phpvalley script and now I'm trying to come up with a plan to promote it. But my mind is running in circles. Once a micro gig site is established I can see how the listings themselves become good search engine material, and individually doing SEO for particular gigs/jobs becomes possible. But with a new micro gig site - how do you even begin to narrow down your target keywords. Its a marketplace for almost everything. I was thinking of focusing my SEO efforts on a few seo related keywords, backlink building, social media related stuff that sort of thing. I guess where I'm having trouble making mental progress is in figuring out how to narrow it down from such a broad bucket of possibilities and figure out where to focus on to get it going. Once it gets going I hope it would take on a life of its own with user generated content.
