it is showing 2 for yahoo..... it is sometime seems ok, but sometimes not ok...... i don't believe this results....
Yea I agree, I have very little faith in its results. Especially with all of the testing I've done with it.
for me it was right. I checked some sites of mine and two of a friend that dropped in traffic during the last months and the results were as expected. His sites have a 5 and 10 seo penalty score, mine 0.
I would guess the way it works is it will do a quick search for the site in question and if it is not found on the first 4 pages it is deemed to have a penalty, which is more often than not the case
I'm guessing more it compares trends. For example if you have a solid ranking and traffic is constant for 6 months, obviously no penalty. If your traffic went up a great deal in the last 6 months, no penalty. If your traffic falls sharply recently, you have a penalty. I tried all 28 of my sites, I honestly thought I would have a penalty on only one of those sites and that's just what it showed. Pure science, it is not. I think it might at least help you evaluate your site and say "Hey, you aren't crazy for thinking you have a penalty. We have some data that might support it."
last week my site is 3 point, later on 6 point, yesterday perfect score zero, today i hit 10 but google still bring me a lot of traffic ...
Man, that's crazy! I'm guessing there traffic data gets bounced around. I have been a solid 2 points on my site for the past 6 weeks. This is a site I'm pretty sure I either have a penalty on or the algorithm change killed me. The traffic on this drop 67% on March 15 and hasn't regained ground. Since it has tons of pages and all are affected, I'm pretty it's a penalty.
It's been broken for a few days now. Check google and yahoo even in it and everything is getting a 10.
Your forums.digitalpoint.com domain has a VERY HIGH Penalty Penalty Level: tot. 10 points (0 min. - 10 max.) - Check Again yes verry reliable-not. i got 10 points of penalty level to all my sites
