I have a website called http://www.wallpapersearch.net and I have gone through and surfed the web a bit and tried to do some SEO but I would like to see what you guys have to say about my website. Go to my website, view the source code and criticize it!

    Thanks

    Title is too long.
This tag contain 104 characters. This is too many for what we would consider a 'robot friendly' web page. The maximum number of characters we recommend for this tag is 80.

Description meta tag is too long.
This tag contains 292 characters. This is too many for what we would consider a 'robot friendly' description. The maximum number of characters we recommend for this tag is 200.

Keywords meta tag relevancy to page content is poor.
The keywords meta tag relevancy to page content is 42%

    Analyse from here: http://www.seocentro.com/tools/search-engines/metatag-analyzer.html

Thanks a bunch! Its somewhat Ironic that I can know a bunch about PHP programming and databases but not SEO. Would you recommend I do anything else?

I don't have the time to give you a full audit, but I can help you learn the subject.

Read the Search Engine Optimization FAQ, All You Need to Know About SEO, and Chris Beasley's SEO Guide and you'll know more than most of the people on this forum. I'd also suggest you pick up a book on information architecture and really learn the semantics and structure of the HTML specification if you haven't done so already (and I don't mean "divs for layout" either).

He means that there are many people and companies who provide SEO analysis and review services that focus on finding out what's wrong with a Web site, and providing recommendations on what and how to change the problems so that they get fixed, which can allow a Web site to rank a LOT higher in the search engines.
