Is Sending Limit in Paypal a monthly restriction?

    Hi,

I noticed today that I couldnt send more than 50$ from my Paypal personal account. It says there is a Sending Limit. Is this a monthly limit and can I send money upto $500 next month onwards?

If anyone has an answer I did really appreciate.

If you become a business your restriction is lifted to something stupid like 400K.

most probably bc ur account is not verified u cant send or receive more than 500$ a month u have verify ur account or wait until next month to renew ur limit *500$ , the limit will be renewed every 1st day of the month ..
if u send and receive that much of money verifiy ur account and thats it ..

There can be several reasons for this -

Either your funding source is a CC and your cc issuer does not allow more than $500 transactions..

    Your account is not verified.

The country you are living in has some different rules of sending and receiving money in pay pal.. (Pay pal has different rules in different countries)

Best Solution for this - go through with the Pay Pal Guidelines to up lift the limits or contact the customer care dept.

    I hope this would help..

    Thanks

It is not a monthly limit.. It's a per account limit...
But the withdrawal limits are per month limits..

If you have a verified paypal account, then there is no such limit, It seems that you ahve not made your paypal account, verified.

Yes PP impose sending limit at unverified personal account.
That is the max monthly limit.
You can sent again at 1st of each month.

Why have an unverified paypal account?

Verifying gets you great benefits as well as the fact you can request a paypal debit card. :) Once you have one of those you can withdraw your money from Paypal at an ATM, use it as a MasterCard, and have no real spending fees. (Except 500 a day from your ATM card or something. :D But you can get those fees up'd if need be.)

Get verified because customers also enjoy that peace of mind. Unverified accounts don't look professional.
