Hello there, I've read about people selling their domains in Ebay a few months ago and I heard it again in recent article I read on the Internet, but personally I havent tried it yet.

Anyone has any experience to share? Currently I only sell my domain through this forum, namepros, sedo and sometimes I list them on GoDaddy aftermarket. Will be trying personal emailling of potential buyers in future, but I'm still looking for areas I can improve my sales. :p

In never tried to sell domains in ebay, but I recommend it will be better to choose special websites. They do nothing else than selling domain. google: Domain for sale or something similar. You will find many options, to market your domains.

I've HEARD (not actually tired it) that the strategy is to start the bidding at .99 with an undisclosed reserve. If you have a good domain and can promote your auction to people who actually have interest in it then I can see how it could start a bidding war. It's a bad idea to do what allot of noobies do and start the bidding at $50, $100 or something ridicules. Start low to attract interest. Your reserve will protect you from taking a loss other than the insertion fee.
