Is Samsung galaxy 3 upgradable to android 2.1 to 2.2 or not?

    I am considering to buy samsung galaxy 3 phone but i am totally confused that, is it upgradable from android 2.1 to 2.2.

    Please suggest

    The Samsung Galaxy 3 dose not exist? Unless your talking about the Samsung Galaxy S in which case I have the Samsung Galaxy S Captivate version (Hence my name), It all depends on the carrier but on Rogers the latest is 2.2
