As I understand, 95% of SEO success depends on link popularity. Well my question is, if I index my RSS url to RSS websites like www.rssmad.com etc.. Will it be counted as an unique one way link to my website?
I checked they directly link to my webpages. see this url: rssmad.com/individual.php?channel_id=17621 It directly links to pages in my website
"Geez"? What's wrong with his response? He's got a perfectly legitimate question. Some of you may be missing his point. He isn't talking about rssmad specifically, he's talking about any site that syndicates RSS feeds (technorati, rssmad, bloglines, etc.). His point is that these sites do contain actual links to the HTML content, not the RSS content. indiadc, my answer to you is that unless your RSS content appears on the main page or some other featured page, RSS sites won't help much in terms of PR, but they'll help a little in terms of link popularity.
