That book is very basic and its not a quick fix...

But it indeed inspired me to change my life and get into internet marketing. I say its worth 10 bucks but if you're already to this site you may not need it.

Pirate. You know, eBooks are worth it because someone else teaches you information that might take them ages to learn - especially when it is a fail-proof system/method - in the time it takes you to read a few lines of text.

I had a good experience with Rich Jerk, but only as a reminder course for obvious things. You can read everything Rich Jerk talks about online in a few months of searching, but the book will cut A LOT of time off your journey.

Downloading an eBook is just plain wrong. I can see downloading movies and games... but when you know ONE person, or ONE small team of people, created a book to help YOU, FAIR FINANCIAL EXCHANGE is obvious.

The idea though is looking for books that are step-by-step and provide results no matter how much of an idiot the reader is. Like my sig :p ZipBux provided me with an income overnight. And not because it told me about some new way to make money, but instead because it showed me step by step how to multiply income by 10 and implement daily with no worry and very little effort. Rich Jerk didn't do that for me - Rich Jerk simply reminded me a few tricks I had forgot. Free eBooks and eBooks downloaded online didn't do that for me - they did much of the same Rich Jerk did. But ZipBux got me money from the time I finished following the instructions.

Step one, step two, step three, no writing, no anything - just money. Daily.

I just think you should think more about the work that goes into discovering and creating new ways that work for sure. I was struggling to find the words to write in a post, let alone SEO my blogs. NOW I don't care and my blogs are fun, just by ignoring my blogs and sites and using zipbux for 20 days instead. Now, my blogs get better because I don't care if they make money - my zipbux money grows and grows and hasn't slowed. - now I can write about what I love and the traffic just comes and comes because I'm not wasting my time in crap like clickbank :)

Ernster, besides being totally clueless and having your head up your ass when posting all around the forum, what it is you actually do? Do you even know up from down?

We get it dammit! You are just a noob who believes in anything handed to him on a silver platter.

heh heh that worked out pretty good. :D

So, richboyjosh, because he sells something that means he isn't a fraud? lol Well, ok, then.

Yes, indyguidedotinfo, there is. And notice the posts about him.

    There is your answer.

kozyavka, I sell e-books on marketing, advertising and dating. I'm also an instructor/motivational speaker in these fields.

I also show how not to get ripped off out there, and how to spot shit, like this "richjerk." :D

No that didn't work out "pretty good". You're an idiot and you just proved it by posting that rubbish, because you have no real response.;)

I downloaded it for free from rapidshare.

It's worth the read and talks about some good strategies, but nothing that you couldn't find anywhere else.

in any industry there are cowboys.. i believe the richjerk is one of them (lucky for him he had 100's affiliates willing to promote the product and therefore a vested interest in believing his hype). i love the review by this guy... http://www.maskedguru.com/ebooks.php unlike the "review review" sites you stumble across this guy actually tells you whats in the ebooks for free. top bloke!

No ebook is going to make you rich. The purpose of buying one is to save yourself the time it would've taken you to figure out the stuff the author did on your own. A system that took 2 years to come up with can be digested in a couple of hours.

It's true that you can find most of the information in ebooks online for free by visiting forums, but the advantage of a (well written) ebook is that you don't have to search all over for different pieces of the puzzle, which again saves you time.

Of course the biggest factor is what you do AFTER you absorb the information. Will you actually use it, or move on to the next big thing?

Looks like a lot of haters here.

the marketing was brilliant, and I believe this guysingle handedly got alot of people started on their journey to make money online.

The information is basic yes, to some more advanced marketers, but it wasn't to me when I read it, so it was worth every penny and thensome. It gave me a dream. It was the possibility.

The guy is brilliant, and I bless him for everything he's done to help create new thousandaires and inspire people to go out and make money online.

He deserves every penny he made, and what have YOU all done lately where you contributed so much to the marketplace?

There is no "hating" here, dumbass. He asked if this clown is a rip off. He is getting opinions from both sides of the fence.

    "Contributed"???

Well, certainly not lies, like he has.

You say his marketing was "brilliant." Give examples.

You can use search engines to see if there are complaints about them. Just a little effort on researching and learning.

I wouldn't call RJ brilliant, just different. He had his day a while back. And he did sell a decent amount of his e-book. As of now he's got about 60,000 + registered members on his forum. (I pop in there now and again)

It used to be a busy forum, now it's pretty much dead.

Do I think he's fraud? Well, after seeing people being relieved of $5,000-$10,000 by Success University Coaching b.s. at this point I think it's fraudulent.

Everyone I've talked to who signed up for that crap was nowhere near closer to making any money than they were before their credit card was practically hijacked..

And it's funny that nowhere on RJ forum you'll find any honest opinion about the coaching scam because those comments evaporate very quickly by their mod.

That's where his real income is from. Getting a bunch of newbies and upselling them the coaching. Those coaches however are not successful marketers who made it. They're basically telemarketers with a script. Which to me screams fraud.

I'm so glad I ignored all that nonsense when they were trying to sucker me into that!

I didn't fall for the Success University either, but the book part wasn't a scam. He did have a good marketing strategy with the way he went about it.

The book though is not bad for someone who has no idea about marketing but for someone who has a little bit of an education on IM it won't do them any good.

I disagree with your first point, he's been selling at the $50 price point for years, no doubt generating excellent profits.

But yeah, it's not a bad eBook atall for the beginner!
