By the way... If you were ever curious as to what the The Jerk looks like check out this site. Some Blog He is two seats down from Yanik in the second photo. Kind of a squirrelly looking kid to be honest haah.
His ebook wasn't that bad. It was sold at a reasonable price and did provide a solid overview of a few IM business models. More importantly you should analyze what RJ did from a marketing stand point. Be well.
How to become a milionare from internet ? You better play the lottery and I’m sure you will have greater chance then try the internet. First of all you must be a part of it, to live through internet to understand all the changes and predict what could happened in months, years; you must have also good knowledge of programming languages mostly used be very intelligent and you must have that brainstorm idea which is the most important ( sex(dot)com owner isn’t in this list ). We all have great ideas but this isn’t enough, you need also some money to invest don’t forget that. Most of the well-known internet marketers started to make some money 10k+ per month after years of hard work having the qualities I mentioned before and they still work from 9 to 9. Good luck!
Play the lottery? Could possibly be the worst advice haha. I'll tell you from first hand experience... You don't need good knowledge of programming languages to become extremely wealthy online. You simply need to become part of a good group of like minded people that you can mastermind with. Until I found my current business partners about 2 years ago, making money online was a struggle. The hardest part is just simply finding the right people, but when you find them, making money is simple. It comes easy! The fact is, most of the "gurus" don't know anything about making money online. All they know is how to pray on noobs. If the noobs stopped buying their products, they wouldn't have a business. Its as simple as that. Realistically 10k per month is really nothing when you learn what works.
Some of his stuff is hit and miss. Some just plain common sense. It's decent info, but not something I would pay for.
10$ for his book seems to low for a good quality content? Think again... When he sells his book for 10$ he does not make money. What happens he gets your name, email address and he knows you ARE ready to take out your credit card and most importantly you are READY to purchase. Then the real show starts; Crazy offers, great deals, back end sales - this is where he makes the money, not on the actual 9.99$ ebook. And by the way, it's not scam - it's just basic marketing information which could actually be useful to n00bs.
no, for a 1 copy $10 is not a big value, but he is selling thousand of copies via telling lies to newbies. That's the big revenue for him. Not from his secrets.
Well it was not always $10.. He has sold if for $97 and $47 as well.. The information is decent though not groundbreaking One thing I like is his blog... He gives some good information over there.. http://www.therichjerk.com/blog/ Cheers, Anup
I am going to school some of you guys on something... And i've said this probably a dozen times on here before... If you found a somewhat difficult way to turn $10 into $14, you wouldn't share your secrets with even your closest friend. If you found a way to turn $5 into $30 with no effort at all, you sure as hell wouldn't write a 7 page ebook exposing your effortless secret to fortune and sell it to random internet souls for $8. Generally when you sell information on generating money, it's because YOU strongly believe that the purchases of this information will exceed the revenue that can be generated with applying your own product or information. The next time you see someone on DigitalPoint selling a $9 ebook on how to make $1,000 a month and limiting his "info of wealth" to 20 sales remember one thing... $180 ($9 x 20) is considered a fortune to the seller compared to how much he/she made using their own information or product. Don't buy into the hype. Now of course there are exceptions... Maybe the seller is stupid? Or maybe he is extra generous (refer to my previous sentence). But nobody can guarantee you will become rich or even make a dime off from information. The people that succeed easily are the types of people that will see success in any market or industry. They are go-getters and highly motivated geniuses. For everybody else, there is no such thing as easy money. You are going to have to submerge yourself in a wealth of knowledge, experience, and motivation before you can dive into your pool of money. I'm familiar with the Rich Jerk by name only. I don't know anything about his website or his product. All I can say is, if he is selling information on how to become an entrepreneur and manage funds and the various markets you can "tackle" by all means by his book if it's a reasonable fee to educate yourself. But if he is trying to convince you that "you too can be a millionaire doing practically nothing at all" then do yourself a favor and block his site so you never find yourself ever on there again. If you want to be successful these are the steps: Step 1: Educate yourself. Step 2: Educate yourself. Step 3: Educate yourself. Step 4. Fail. Step 5. Fail. Step 6. Fail. Step 7. Succeed Step 8. Repeat.
Except for the part about him selling thousands of copies, I agree. He doesn't have enough traffic going to his lame-looking site to sell that many.
I have a copy of The Rich Jerk, which can be easily obtained for free. It covers the bread and butter basics of webmastering, but it's nothing I'd personally pay $10 for.
RJ is worth it, especially for $10. The book presents the majority of the IM world to newbies, and as a bonus you get to jon the RJ forum. I'd also wager that he makes more than anyone on this forum. His advice and tactics are top notch (read his blog).
How many active members does he have? 12? He has very little traffic going to his site, so it is not likely. How can it be top notch if it is the same ol' info as that is read here, time after time after time? He starts off his lame, dead blog with "Hey Losers." Yet he is the one with no traffic, and God-awful advice that only a clueless noob running on half of his brain cells would say is good, which is why they themselves still have a dead site. How ironic, and moronic at the same time.
If you sell enough ebooks you will be a rich jerk also. I found to make money online very easy as well. My problem is try to turn my websites into 50,000 dollars per month profit generators. The high income websites are extremely difficult to achieve.
