Is REGNOW worth it?

    Hello guys,

I decided to become a REGNOW affiliate for my site : Free DVD Software, Games and Utilities. But I am very disappointed.

After 3 months and almost 30k visitors I didn't sell any products. From my statistics I can see that I had more than 4000 clicks on the buy links on my site. There might be a problem. I open the links in new window using nofollow so I don't get wrong statistics when bots are crawling my site. Is it possible that some bots don't know about no follow?

So, now I have 300 visit/day and I was wondering if REGNOW is a good option in making money, because AdSense is not for the moment.

    Hi SoftArea51,

RegNow is nice because it has a HUGE catalog of software, however the conversion rate isn't that great. Another one of Digital River's affiliate networks is oneNetworkDirect, which has some big name software titles, and they convert a lot better simply because people are searching for them and have established/well branded companies.

    Hey Softarea51,

Your site looks great and very clean.

I can see that someone has really put some work into it.

You have quite some traffic but is it 'good traffic'? I mean, who's visiting it and where do they come from?

Just as well you could have 1 milion visitors if they all are under 16 years and with no credit card or paypal :(

    Here's a tip:

Take the top 30 most visited pages from last month and see if they have regnow products. If they do, check that the vendor also sells via Regnow. You may be losing right there!

If they DO sell via regnow on their website, make sure that your visitors go there via your affiliate link.

I don't know if you've already done this but you should start investigating why you don't get any sales.

Best of luck and PM me if you need any help.

    Cheers!
