Hi- I guess this is kind of a dumb question but is the traffic sellers site redirectedvisitors.com and the like all ripoffs? I know most companies use hitbots and proxy hits etc but I sent $60 to this company 1 week ago and they so far have sent exactly ONE hit- and thats according to thier own webstats login account they gave me to check with so it seems as though not only are they a ripoff but they are SUCH a ripoff that they dont even bother to FAKE the webstats with hitbots. I have sent them a couple e-mails and so far they have not even bothered to respond. I will open a resolution dispute with Paypal but sometimes they are less than helpful. I will update this thread and let everyone know how it turns out. Maybe there should be a "sticky" thread of blacklisted traffic sellers people have had a bad experience with here at DP?
Most redirects are full of traffic that never goes to another page on your site, let alone convert. This is because most use pop-unders so, the traffic never sees your site.
ok, an update on redirectedvisitors.com - I just logged into thier supplied administration panel to see what was up and now it magically says my 5,000 uniques are all delivered even though I literally see only ONE hit from them in my webalyzer and other stats programs LOL - I gave them 24 hours to return my $60 before I bury them in an avalanche of results on these and other forums and social bookmarking sites. I kind of feel bad for them they have no idea whats coming. Well, they have a PR6 BUT they show a FAKE SquareTrade logo on their site. Usually a squaretrade logo should point to a valid link where you can check their credential, in this case the link for the credentials is hosted on their server: redirectedvisitors.com/images/seals.gif and my personal oppinion is that to say away from such things. A real website use genuine seals ONLY! Good luck!
ok, found ANOTHER company and website from these guys. I did not even have to dig deep, they use the exact same phone number and address. Will begin doing whois searches because i know there must be more and will start a new consolidated thread to track this company and its subsidiaries. The new site is NewsWriter.us, a M Technology Company
ok, cheaspsitetraffic.com, redirectedvisitors.com and easyhits.biz all of which have the exact same address and phone number listed on thier site all have private registrations but ANOTHER company that came up with that same phone number and address is newswriter.us which also sells traffic and has the same layout design. NOW... A whois search on newswriter.us is NOT private and lists this contact info: Registrant: Marc William Unit 5 tyne wear, Newcastle ne289EQ United Kingdom Registered through: GoDaddy.com, Inc. Domain Name: NEWSWRITER.US Created on: 18-Jun-04 Expires on: 17-Jun-10 Last Updated on: 19-Mar-08 Administrative Contact: William, Marc Unit 5 tyne wear, Newcastle ne289EQ United Kingdom 00000000000 So now I am getting closer to the source because I can see that the admin contact e-mail for this company is livesportnetwork.com so that must be thier parent company. Will investigate further and looks like I will have to open a new thread to categorize all this. funny thing is about business like this is that they just assume most people have better things to do than chase them down. I dont. I do this all day anyway LOL
hey you are really on a role. I think until they give your money back they are not going to sleep at all because of you. If you update more on this then I would like to write about this in my blog.
Bloody 'ell, found this thread 1 hour too late. I've spent a heap of money. Please keep us updated on your progress, I'd like to take them up aswell if they don't deliver (which I guess is not gonna happen anyway)
Found this thread while researching traffic providers. I also see that redirectedvisitors.com has the same, word for word, testimonials as newswriter.us. They're to lazy to even make up different testimonials! Glenn
Good job!letting everyone know they suck! I used them a few months ago,got the traffic,but it was useless!
