Is reddit traffic is valid ?

    I get many of hits from reddit of my web page but i have a question in my mind that reddit massive traffic is valid or not?:rolleyes:

    You can say they wont be much targeted. But I am sure they would be counted as visitors by your traffic tracking software.

    This is actually quite the contrary, Reddit traffic is much more focused than Digg traffic or Mixx. This is because Reddit has so many SubReddits that you can submit your link to popular areas that will have more people interested in that specific area or niche.

    It really depends on your niche. I love reddit for the traffic it brings. I used to work in a travel site, and traffic from reddit was quite valid.

    YOu are very right mate...compared to Digg/mixx and SU, reddit traffic is bit more targetted and you can expect some conversion and lower bounce rate.

    You should try just hanging out on Reddit for an hour or two before you just submit blindly to it. Reddit has much better quality articles than Digg, and you may find yourself fitting right into the community and having some fun

    You're Wrong...

    StumbleUpon generate most targeted traffic because they have 100x more categories than reddit, also, SU algoritm is much more complicated than reddit's....
