I am looking to purchase some Targeted Reddit ads for my gaming news site, and I am wondering would I put my site at risk if I did this? I've seen many big sites with Adsense on have ads on Reddit, also, can someone give me a rough figure on how much i should be making with around 3k visits/5-6k pageviews per day with a gaming news site. Over 90 percent of traffic is organic traffic and mostly for European countries. Also best adsense placement and sizes? I've got 250x250 image ad, sidebar I've got a 728x90 header ad, text and image - this fine, or should it be just text, or just image Also, one 250x250 image/text ad inside posts, should it be both or just image or text ad? thanks for your help.
you can buy a batch of traffic and see how it converts. unless the traffic is targeted and people click out of interest, you wont get much of a conversion. usually this type of traffic dont convert well as not many people clicks on the ads and people who do click out of curiosity and leave the site without clicking on your ads.
So do you know if it's 100% safe to use reddit with ads on the site? no risk at all? how about best adsense placement and sizes? I've got 250x250 image ad, sidebar I've got a 728x90 header ad, text and image - this fine, or should it be just text, or just image Also, one 250x250 image/text ad inside posts, should it be both or just image or text ad? thanks
try adwords its very fantastic program and you can specify certain website and certain places, if you are expert in this thing you well get very good traffic.
No one can estimate this for you Ash, its all about trial and error. Try a small order like 1000 clicks and check the conversion you get back. Reddit can't Guarentee that every click they send you will actually engage with your site. If It converts ok then try different ad sizes and positions until you find the highest ctr. Andy.
I think reddit ads & traffic are not dangerous for adsense. Because Reddittors will not click on adsense until something new
