Is recent PR update a major update or just google dance?

I know there are a lot of threads concerning pr update, however, I can't find a thread that has useful information or deeper analysis or discussion about google pr update so frequently lately, so, I would like to start this thread to learn more about google update from all of your opinions, would you please spare some thought on this: Major update or Google dance? cheers.

 

I think it's a major update. Because most of people saw changes, and reasonable changes.

 

Maybe it's a bonus, or implementation of new algorithm. Always keep ourselves updated with what's happening, Google might giving generous updates and showing it to the world, and to other search engines too! Who knows!

 

It's hard to say that.Google nowadays updates prs more frequently than ever before.

 

Yea I think Google updates PR's more often than they upgrade their actual algorithm and engine. I just jumped from pr0 to pr2 this week after launching one of my blogs 5 weeks ago.

 

my blog www.Ruchirablog.com got PR 1 yesterday within a month on start! im happy!

 

i think this is a major update

my many websites has get and many has loose pr !

 

MY 15 days old keyword based site got PR1.
Im surprised lol..

 

Major update for me.

 

My google traffic went up 250% the last week, so pretty major for me as well

 

I bet it had nothing to do with your PR.

 

I think that PR update is not so important but the changes that Google does with nofollow and dofollow links and the changes in Google algo. I think they are huge and we will see their results about our pages very fast.

 

Its probably a dance.. Might get the actual PR in next update.

I dont think this is the right updates, as alot of ppl knows the more backlinks resulting to getting pr, most of the ppl have a site for a week and got a pr, what does that shows? does that mean google not counting bcklinks anymore? that will show this updates is just not major updates, dont be surprise when u get struck back when the major updates started

 

Absolutely a major update... my one blog http://www.jazdb2b.wordpress.com/ started before 15 days , I got a PR of 2 over there.

I think it is a major update since they are updating PR too

 

The update appears to be a major one but it is surely becoming increasingly difficult to seperate the minor ones from the major ones as we have seen too many updates, too soon!

Btw....google dance is associated with the movement of the serp position (as it is more dynamic/vibrant) and not PR!

Well so far so good, i broke out of the PR0 Pharamcy site...... PR1..

Well we are sigining some nice benefit deals so hopefully we get some powerfull backlinks from that..
