Is ranking easier with blogs or web pages?

    Blogs are usually usefull if you add that personal touch to the content. I am doing news mastering: I take the news from other websites and I write my own comments.

    As suggested by a few people so far I think I will do a combination of both. My site will consist of reviews of different products that will be better presented in HTML and the other topics of the web site will be presented better using a blog. I am hoping that this combination will provide the user and search engines with everything they need :D
