    Hey Guys,

You have probably seen hundreds if not thousands of people trying to rank #1 for "make money online". After checking out Carl Ocab's site today, I began wondering.... is it really worth it?

What do you think? Do you think that the time spent in trying to rank #1 for make money online is worth it?

Top ranking is not the only determining factor, you may rank no: 1 but still not make money. It about being visible or rank for keywords that your prospective customers search to look for products and services. Ranking on obscure keywords is no good.

Having said that, ranking for even keywords that are being searched for is not essential to deliver the goods. Website usability and customer experience are factors that decides whether these customers convert into sales. We have to look at the holistic picture rather than the concentrating on on given performance metric.

These sorts of niche markets get saturated quite quickly, so unless your site is good and ranks well it is difficult to cash in.

Im imagining to start from fresh, a keyword like that would take you absolutely ages to rank for and you would be up against much better, established sites.

Nope, unless you have a well established network that can get you there quickly, I don't think it's worth it. You can spend that amount of time in promoting a lead generation website.

If you really think you could get it to No. 1 then yes for sure, Make Money Online is searched over 500,000 time a month in Google alone, so the earning potential is huge.

Even if you get to number 1, you'll still have to work to keep it there. A saturated niche will mean lots of competitors all vying for your spot.

I have no doubt that it will be a tough... no let me rephrase that. I have no doubt that it will be an almost impossible task to get my site ranking #1 let alone keep it there. But hey, if you set your mind to something then you can do it.

Sometime it's not just about ranking number one...It's also about how you monetize (by means of affiliates or adsense) on your website once you attain a certain traffic flow.

Even if you ranked 1 in Google. It's not worth it. Ranking 1 in Google will get you around 400 uv per day. #5 means 47 uv a day from the phrase.
