Like title says. I'm looking to increase web traffic, but I'm kind of new and writing my own article seems like a daunting task at the moment. Just wondered if I publish some articles from other website (with thier permission of course), would it help to increase traffic?

Of course! You can find many good articles at ezinearticles.com but you have to copy them with the author’s resource box, with all existent links. It is permitted to do that: you’ll be a publisher.

This will help your blog’s ranking, because it will have many different links. Use the articles of many different authors = many different websites. Choose the best ones from each author’s article collection.

I write my own articles, but if you are not good at it, I believe that the idea of using other people’s articles is quite intelligent.

You’ll have traffic, your blog will have a good ranking thanks to all the different links you’ll collect, and having visitors, you’ll have the chance to achieve your goals.

Just be selective, and look for the best articles about your field. Don’t be lazy in this point. Read many articles until you’ll find really good ones and only them copy them. Don’t simply use any article…

Care about giving to your blog a good reputation and only post there the best existent articles.

Now, there is also another solution, which is not so unique. You could use the free traffic system (Type these terms at Google, and you’ll find the site, because I’m not allowed to post links here I guess) – they will send you articles for your blog, and if you like them, you will use them. However, these articles are also posted in 30 blogs, after spinning, and many times the results are not so good.

This is a simpler solution, but I personally prefer the first one.

I can write my own articles but I'm getting lazy and I'm contemplating publishing articles from ezine myself.

    Sure it can.
It is more effective to use it in combine with social networking such as Twitter, and social bookmarking like Digg.
It will help improve your PR as well.
