Depends on what you are looking for. PTC works great for improving alexa and for money related sites. If you are looking to sell Clickbank or other products, Then it's not for you.
I'm not 100% sure I understand want you are asking? But PTC sites act as a middleman vis a vis the advertiser and consumers. You pay as the advertiser, and the viewer pays to view.(pay to click) As far as the cost most PPC sites offer a commission to new members to sign up.
True, most people are just clicking to get paid. SO not everyone who clicks are interested in your offer.
Frankly, they're a waste of time for anything other than increasing your Alexa rank. You're very unlikely to get leads out of PTC advertising, focus on something more worthwhile. Good luck!

I think they are a bad idea for you, the advertiser. Why do I think this? Simply because the surfers do not care at all about your business, your products, or your services. They only want to get paid!
