I was checking out prweb.com and they want $80 to send out a press release. Has anyone tried their service?

PRWeb probably has the widest reach of all the online distributors. However, you can use PRunderground (see my sig.) and get distribution on both PRunderground and PRWeb for a single fee of $59.99.

PRNewsExpress.com allows businesses and website owners to create and send unlimited optimized press releases, is designed to meet the needs of small to medium sized businesses who seek to tell their story directly to their buyers and customers.

When it comes to Press Releases PRWEB.COM are the best. I have used their service and I managed to get on Google News on twice occasions. However, when writing your press release be careful as many people often make mistakes.

I am going to try out prweb.com in the very near future. I have a release that is going to go out on Monday morning and I will be back with thoughts as if it was worth it.

I´ve used them 2 times and was quite happy with the results, I think if you have something worth to put out is worth the $80 fee

PRweb isn't the "best" at anything really. They should be a supplemental distribution outlet if you're serious; not the primary one. But in general, they're "OK" for what they're intended to do.
