WILL IT WORK GOOD IF I PUT adsense ON IT ??? IMO The whole proxy site thing is far too saturated to even begin, I set up about 3 proxies and submitted them to topsites and such but got very little traffic and not enough clicks to pay for my domain, and or so I can see its got even worse.
You'll get really low value clicks. Your only hope is to make that up with volume, which is difficult in such a saturated niche.
OMG really? I was planning to do so. Is the proxy niche really saturated? Are there anybody with a nice income?
topsites are useless in my opinion. Start off with stumbleupon to get a couple thousand hits. Post your site in yahoo and google groups. The proxy market is saturated but you still can make a few dollars a day on 1 proxy.
I have 2 proxys and they are getting bigger by the day and so is my revenue, admitedly not enough to retire on but never the less not bad.
Of course there are people making a nice income. However, there are also even more people making crap income. It just depends on what you put into you. It has the potential to be successful, but you have to do work to make it that way.
I got a nice letter from G about.... ohh, 18 months ago informing me that they were none to happy that I was using Adsense on my old Proxy site. They were forgiving and only sent that letter informing me my ads wouldn't be showing on there any longer...but provisioned me that should it happen again, I "might have" lost my account. Words of Wisdom.
Proxy are really good for beginners. But when you decide that you are aiming for long term earnings, you will have to move out of those and move into content sites. Good luck
