Is PR or Google Update Finished?

Anyone knows if Google update or PR update has finished?

And how long the Google dance will continue as I am facing sever rank fluctuation for good keyword and now my website isn't ranking anywhere

 

Google PR update happens for 1 day only while search rankings updates all the time.

 

both are always updating
so no, it's not finished

 

It seems to be hopping around right now. I would suggest waiting until the dust settles.

I think it takes more than a day because the PR update needs to be reflected in Google Toolbar and that takes time. Yes, ranking goes on and off day to day.

True. But there is something like a pause As you see there are many website stay firmly in the SERP's regardless of any update. Yes, a little fluctuation is there for few.

I feel so and I wish it could get settle down soon as my major keywords are out of the results. I used to rank for Web Designging keyword in 2nd page but now its no where!

A good suggestion to keep on working all the way, but I am curious to know when would it be still for sometimes so I may see my keywords back in the field.

Roaming around for the same question I have found out something very interesting and it seems to be valid. You can even try this too to know either the update has finished or not.

So, Google update is NOT finished so far. In order to confirm it, just login to your Google Webmaster Tools and check under Crawl States that if there is PR information about most high PR page for the month is given or not? If it is given then good, means update is done if not then it is not complete so far.

I have checked my stats and the PR info I used to have there is not there anymore because it is being under process, though the toolbar is showing the new PR. However, when the update will be completely updated, the info will be there.

 

this is a daily job for google to update all the site for the ranking depends on the site link building and etc, it's endless job!

PR updation is completed because my site's changed page rank, not dancing still.

 

As people mention above, both PR and Google updates are always happening.

If you mean the toolbar PR update then I have to say that I haven't seen any changes in the last day or two across my sites.

 

Guess you've been quite away during the past few weeks, as on (as far as i can remeber) 12 October Google removed the PR information from their Webmasters Tools... and it's no longer a way to know anything

 

But Google not finishing the updation within a day, taking some long days to finish updation in all data cernters

Google update will never be finished .This month Google update it's indexing second time .With updation of google
the all the strategies of webmaster who are doing seo changes every time.

 

The Google toolbar updated the pagerank 10/30-10/31, but Google is constantly reacesssing ranking. Often it takes time for data centers to update with changes, which can cause significant fluctuations in rankings for a short period of time.

 

AFAIK, Google updates the PR every two to three months.

 

it is nonstop issue. google never can stop it

 

Right, I have noticed PR for one of my sites rose from 2 to 3 and many of my inner pages did get PR of 2 or 3.
