Hi all, I have been out of SEO for a while and was wondering if Google PR what the holy grail that it used to be? Cheers
Google PR isn't as much important as the fact how many visitors you have. You can have PR5 and 50 visitors per day, which means that your website is for the "recycle bin" . Just kidding. PR is only important for better position in Google. But here SEO has a bigger role. So, PR is not very important at least
PR might be not so important as SERP. But I do think any methods help in PR would help in SERP, too. Have a nice day,
PR is valuable when the content of your site is up to the standard. This decays your website's competition in the search engines.
I think google see PR as important now as in the past. I think people not needing to be so obsessed with it is whats changed. But if you notice that PR thread that exists, its questionable whether people can let go of their addiction. PR is like crystal meth, crack, heroin, its a bit moreish
PR still remains as one of the main factors for rankings, but along with it there also should be trustrank
No is my answer. Optimizing your blog with perfect SEO techniques will work better even though you have low pagerank. my blogs are example.
That's a difficult question to answer beyond the level of informed opinion. My "gut" sense of it is that PR has diminished to some degree in importance. On the other hand, Google still takes the time, effort (and money) to calculate and publish PR. So it apparently still means something to Google. What that "something" is, I don't know. I suspect, but can't definitively prove, that PR still factors into the search engine results to some degree.
i think both are important otherwise they would get read of one and leave the other. There is too much to gain from bot. I concentrate on building keywords up then pr will follow.
It depends on individuals actually, but for me its almost usless, because my PR1 websites are ranking way higher than my other higher PR websites which are meant to sale links only. So, Doesnt really matter, as far as serps are concerned.
I don't think it is, but sadly I seem to be in the minority. I make money by writing paid reviews and the advertisers orgasm over PR.
