I think, for a few areas of business it is effective (low cost), but for the most areas it is too expensive and not effective.. What do you think?
Well, PPC is very good source to get quick traffic as well as releavnt traffic and can help you in any business to promote it online but it need a lot of expertise.
If you want total exposure as a website, both SEO and PPC should be done. Paid listings still draw so much attention. Its not because a website is ranked on the top of google that it shouldn't defend its name in the paid listings. You can stop doing ppc when you've trademarked your name!
why is cost related to a effective campaign ? . Thats where an expert converts a campaign regardless of cost to one of continual profit.
I think PPC is throwing money down a rat hole. The price is inelastic with the slowdown of the economy you should be buying adwords at a lower price. But Google calls all the shots. Make sure you get the free local map ad.
Some comapnies use PPC all the time they make a good margain off each sale so it works out good for them. In the long run most sites do better with high ranking seo sites that get natural search traffic instead of paying for ads.
If you've got the money upon starting up, try PPC. Unlike me, I didn't have too much money when I started so I never wasted time with PPC and focused on SEO for my websites. Yugo,
The bottom line is that PPC is all about return on investment (ROI). In my experience, PPC is great at driving a lot of traffic to your website very quickly. This is critical for a start-up business that can't wait for SEO efforts to kick in. A lot of people think that PPC is just a waste of money, but you just need to keep monitoring your campaigns and making adjustments to make sure that each keyword is pulling its weight and is bringing in more money than it costs. A lot of novice PPC users just focus on getting traffic, and are probably losing a lot of money doing so. Just focus on profitable keywords, delete the ones without a positive ROI, and ramp up your SEO efforts in conjunction with your PPC efforts. You can use PPC analytics data to improve your SEO efforts, and vice versa.
I think you really need to choose products which offers some high commission to make good income with PPC and affiliate marketing combination. Along with this you need to check some products before you come to know which one is converting well for you. So i guess there is some investment initially to taste the water.
High commission is OK. The problem is the expensive cost of keywords. I don't believe there are high commissions and low cost keywords.
