    This question is about pointing 5 links from one website to your 5 individual pages of my website ?

    An example- lets say my site is about German cars, and there is a a good car site, with PR of 6 called www.MadeUp_CarSite.com. If i get 5 links from this Good car website to my website - The 5 links pointing to 5 individual pages on my website, is that a good/bad thing from SEO point of view, and rankings point of view, and Google algorithms point of view?
    (lets say i use 5 different keywords per link)

    www.MadeUp_CarSite.com --> MyCar_site/car 1(page 1)
    www.MadeUp_CarSite.com --> MyCar_site/car 2(page 2)
    www.MadeUp_CarSite.com --> MyCar_site/car 3(page 3)
    www.MadeUp_CarSite.com --> MyCar_site/car 4(page 4)
    www.MadeUp_CarSite.com --> MyCar_site/car 5(page 5)

    Can that hinder my site/ or rankings in anyway?
    Or is it best just to get 1-2 links from any one website pointing to mine?
    Or is it best to get just one link?

    Thanks…..

    It won't hurt your site, but the amount of rank each page gets is divided between all of the links on the page, so instead of 5 ounces of link juice being passed to your 1 main page, it will be 1 ounce of link juice to each of the 5 pages.... either can help, but if you have one main competitive keyword, i would just do the 1 link to your main page.
