Playing golf will not make you healthier...... going to the gym will though. You need to work out at a gym, then go play golf...... otherwise you will end up with a bad back and sore arms.
Well golf is a form of exercise, but it exercise your wallet far more than your body. Your wallet will certainly lose weight. While I do play golf once in a while with business associates, I don't really like it. I feel that a good jog, some workouts on the gyms have much better effects than golf. To me it is more of a business sports where you know your business associates over a game, more towards business than fitness.
Of course golf can help,i am not saying it will provide you with all your exercise but it can be expensive if you join a top club and also buy all the latest equipment but even a beginner can go into a local sports shop and come out with a cheap set of clubs and most people still walk around a course over here in the UK so just by the fact of walking around the course and being out in the fresh air will help you health wise.
Hello everyone. Good question. I think that golf can make your healthier. For example when you play this game you spend much time outdoor. You breathe with clear and fresh air, you walk. It helps to burn calories. Also, you train you brain when you thinking about your further step.
I think it does. A good couple of miles walking. Carrying a bag full of clubs on your back. I love golf and it's very tiring
Go out to a driving range some day and hit a bucket of balls. guarantee you come home soar. It definitely gives you a bit of a workout. More so if you walk and don't use a cart. Any type of physical activity can help you be more healthy, just some more than others.
