Good for the mind, but not for the soul. If you catch my meaning. Rather than raise me as a child (she was juggling 4 kids), my mother let the nintendo and ancient computer (when 33mhz was fast, those were the days). As a result, I was evaluated as "gifted" at 6, but lacking in "moral clarity" basically. I graduated early from high school, but can't relate to people, etc. When I got older and more social I learned to empathize, be sociable, etc., but only because I *changed* my lifestyle. I don't know. It's had it's pluses and minuses. There's some study I read that said your cerebrum increases (aka intellect, intelligence) but your frontal lobe (responsible for wisdom and moral clarity) decreases. I kind of agree with that summary as a nintendo baby (started playing megaman/mario at 2 years old). I'm a very "logical" person and have a hard time learning to empathize and use that "heart" thing people talk about. But as a result of religious and social causes in my life, I've become quite caring I suppose. I also notice the more time I spend on the computer/playing games, the more "logical" but also more "antisocial" I become. Common sense really. Has it's pluses and minuses like I said.
I think playing Game is a good habit but one must keep track of time so that his/her studies might not disturbed due to extensive playing.
I do not think video or computer games are good for mind because most of them are addicting and you spend a lot more time playing them than you should. So, it is not a good idea to play them if you think that they will benefit you.
Playing Games are Good for our mind... it Increase the processing speed of mind. and increase the Logic
yes its good for mind, but don't play day night and many hours without stopping, play games for 1-2 hours weekly that helps you to increase your concentration level and sharp your mind. its good but over playing games makes you physco soon ! make your choice !!
yeah..its is gud..for mind.. it makes thinking power more strong..then it wud be.. more accuracy... over playing game affects..body.. bt to the people..who think they can play..... ( like mi ) then who cares...
I think yeas playing games do improve it but mainly it depends upon time spent on game.If one start playing game for many hours then i think it will have adverse effect
artficial intelligence in modern games can definitely help you enhance your response time ! Enhancing your sharpness level.
I think it depends on the game you are playing. If you are playing games where you have to think it can help you but i don't think that playing shooter 24 hours a day can improve your mind^^.
