Is placing AdSense on a mostly image-populated page against the TOS?

I have a particular section on my site whereby each page has plenty of images about 10kb each. Is it against the TOS to place ads on such a page? I've yet to place the ads, just thought I'd ask here first.

As far as I know its not, although its likely that the ads won't be relevant. Also their must be some text I'm pretty sure, its illegal to just have ads and images.

Can you give us the URL of that particular page? I am not sure if the page is image only.. or there is some text on it as well.

Not at all. As proof check out any of the galleries at my comic book covers website.

You'll have to use metatags to give adsense an idea of what the page is about though; even still, they'll use your domain name & directory title to do so also.

The way you are doing it should not be a problem.

Just make sure you have content also.

It doesn't have much text (close to none), similar to heinlein99's comic cover galleries.

So it's alright as long as I have the proper meta tags? 'Content' seems a little vague.. since it's quite open to interpretation..? The comic cover galleries do have content: the images of the comic covers.

Actually, these images count as content. They are highly interesting for people in his target audience. Though I think they would be more interested in being able to see the covers up close as well.

Thanks a lot! So I take it that it's alright to put ads on such a page then. :)
