Good thinking there... wait, no it's not. I can't afford a Ferrari, that doesn't mean I'm going to go pirate one. Edit: shit, someone already said this... they even used Ferrari too. Sigh.
Am possibly from the school that agree it is theft though hate any comparisons to more tangible theft. Fact of the matter is that media producers are not yet doing themselves any favors in making it easier to access music/movies in the digital age. Until they do, piracy will remain a biggie
we canr says that the piracy is theft not fully but still we can say in some percent it is also same as theft because by piracy the individual can gain access to the facility without paying any charges.
i for myself gets a lot of benefits through piracy...like those cds, dvds, softwares...theyre really cheap and is just like the original one...
Despite all the arguements it boils down to taking something that is not yours is stealing. We learned that kindergarten.
Just imagine that you have worked really hard and created a software that you want to sell to many people. Now if someone creates multiple copies of the same, your revenue will take a toll....this is the downside of piracy.
Yes i do agree. Somebody works hard for months or may be years for his creation and when the time comes to reap, somebody else pockets and get rich, by simply doing nothing but copying the work. Ideally one should eat his own fruit not to eye on somebody.
yes indeed. Someone works on the software for months and if you don't buy it its a theft. Dont encourage piracy
It doesn't seem like it would be piracy, but you are still getting something for free when you should be paying for it. Someone is losing money because of you. That is piracy.
