Is ping sites is important in SEO!

Can any one tell me that ping websites is important in SEO. If is it important than please provide me the list and tell me the breif description for the same.

Ping sites help you to say Google that your site is alive and you have new fresh content, or you just made some new pages on website.

 

Its a part of seo.

 

it is important and first part of seo after content, without that S.E cant find you fresh contents

 

Yes its more important because it boost your content in one click on several other sites and it provides info to others about your latest post or article

 

Latest ping hit to google and that will help to index your site.

 

Pinging is important for new sites, one google indexes then pinging is useless. So it is important for first time only otherwise it is useless.

 

It can be, but it doesn't have to be. The reason I say this is because it's useful if you don't have the right automation set up on your website. With the proper tools, you never have to worry about pinging your new content.

A creative suggestion for you. Create a Bookmark on your toolbar and have it link to the code at the bottom of this post. Whenever you are on a webpage you want to ping, click the Bookmark and it will ping for you.

 

Pinging will notify the search engines of a 'change' to the URL you are submitting. A lot of the 'lower quality' links often struggle to get found and indexed, so pinging is often used to help get them noticed

Well, in my experience, I have discovered that Ping sites helps you get your new pages indexed faster.

 

In my own view, ping sites are still helpful as long as they are not abused.

Ping sites are only use to notify SE's about updates and changes on your website or blog. This not actually ensure that you get crawled right away by Google but only means to notify Google about your update, which somewhat helps in getting found an index in a quick way (but not 100% sure)

 

You can use WebMaster Tools to make sure you're getting pinged at the most consistent basis possible.

 

Pinging a site once you update it is good, in that the search engines are notified that you have updated the site, and they should come and crawl it

I think Ping is important when your site or blog is new or you want to index your site or blog after that ping is needless...
