Is PicApp.com legal?

I don't understand how it is possible. They (Picapp.com) give thousands of images for free, but looks like all those images comes from paid sites. Such as, for example, getty images, jupiter images etc. And they say that everything is 100% legal.

How much of you use picapp? And have you got any problems or legal issues with them?

have you checked out their TOS and FAQ? they could have terms such as "Personal use only" or an FAQ which says "Why do you give these images away for free?"

I noticed a large % of their content is (flattering) pictures of celebrities. I'm sure the celebrities don't mind having these pictures distributed freely. So they are licensed in this way.
Of course, always read the TOS though...
