is phpbb 3 more robust and immune from junk ads ?

    is phpbb 3 more robust and immune from junk ads ? has it improve its security than its predecessors which are vulnerable from mass ads ? But fantastico only install phpbb2 how to change this

    I have been using phpbb3 for about a year now and never really had an issue with junk posts. The security is pretty decent and you can actually make it pretty tough for spammers if you wanted to. There is some decent mods as well that help to.

    strange just install forum phpbb 3 then not more than 1 week have got 5 junk ads (mostly adult ads). How to make phpbb3 tough cause I dont see any additional script to hardened it.
