This is not a programming question but I want to know which skill is more marketable or more demanded. PHP or coldfusion?
I would say PHP but that's because I do PHP and haven't used the other and I do just fine. Look at places like scriptlance you will see more projects posted requiring PHP then you will for the other. But I could be wrong.
I've seen a lot more demand for PHP programmers than CF programmers in the last 5 years. If you find a CF job, it's probably going to pay more though I believe.
I'd go with PHP as well. The blackboards at my university offer PHP related jobs all the time, and I don't recall having seen any CF job offers during the last few years.
PHP is way more in demand, however, a lot of enterprise level companies are still very dependent on there coldfusion systems. I'd stick with PHP.
