It should be banned, else it will spoil the work nature

Like in schools and colleges, in offices too mobiles should be banned :D

    Ya, you are right !
And if mobiles are not allowed then there must be some other ways of communications to communicate to a person in case of emergency.

No need to ban mobile Phone. We always have a tendency to go for what is restricted. CellPhone was not allowed in our educational institution, but we enjoyed using it there.

Well, sometimes personal mobile affects a person behavior in work. So it would be essential to remove it to make you more productive

It is good initiative. Ringtones are very irritating. Some people also talk too loud

It depends on the working environment and banning mobiles must be decided after discussing with employees, bcz at the time of emergency situations if mobile is the only communication, it will be difficult for everyone. might ask employees to keep mobile in vibrating mode and can allow to speak outside the office campus. But employees shouldn't make wrong use of that:)

A no mobile phone office would probably become dull after a few days... it should be allowed for people to relax and enjoy.....but excessive usage could be reported :)

I would be fine as long as my work provided an alternative method for people to contact me, if needed.

    Thanks Brian

the ban of mobile is good as you should be working for your pay and not using the telephone to order your noodles lunch.
    good joy to the ban.

    Yes you are right....
But in that case you can use the office phone.. :)
Loud conversation is more more irritating then ringtones.....

    Isn'it??

In our office private mobile phone is allowed. And if it is banned I think it is the violence of human's rights.
