To what audience does it target? Beginners? I have been doing SEO for a few years and now I'm getting ready to jump into the PPC game. What are your thoughts?
I think it's a good book for beginners. If you are a novice at adwords/ppc, you still might learn a few bits here and there that will help. I do like the fact he sends updated newsletters to his buyers about adwords changes.
Being a beginner with PPC I found his book to offer great tips and advice and as Dastar stated he does send updated newsletters with new information about Adwords, etc. So for me his book was well worth the money.
It contains good basic information. If you're doing it for a company or for other people then you probably need the information. If however, you just want to do PPC to earn money for yourself then day job killer/ google wealth wizard might be better for you. tn33
the information is just basic common sense, its not worth the money. though i would recomend it for beginers
I am reading now, and 50 pages in I'm not too impressed. I plan to do an extensive outline and review and post here when finished.
It's basic knowledge that you can get for free from Google's website and few other websites that have Adwords tutorials. On the other side the guide can kickstart your learn process. I'd start with the Adwords website and the stuff that is available there. Day Job Killer - I would not buy it if you have no clue about PPC Marketing. Then rather buy adwords miracle. But all these guide should only supplement your learning. Christoph
Perry Marshall's book is pretty basic stuff, and if you had to get an Adwords guide I'd recommend Adwords Miracle or Beating Adwords. They go over the basics and also cover some more advanced techniques.
I feel the email subsriptions will work fine.. he gives nice information through his emails and keep updated.
